An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dentistry graduate to work part-time within an indigenous health organization. You would be working 2 days per week would be based in Wollongong.
Your responsibilities would include (but not be limited to);
Ensuring the effective delivery of general dental treatment to clients, check ups, cleans, uncomplicated fillings etc.
Supervision of the ordering of consumables and other materials necessary for the optimal operation of the dental clinic
Ensuring the correct sterilisation of instruments as required by Australian Standards
Maintaining the dental patient record system
Conducting and participating in health promotion and educational activities as required
Maintaining and being accountable for the use of company assets, ensuring the efficient and effective use of all company resources
Being involved in ongoing accreditation and quality improvement processes.
Providing performance reports to management as directed
Ensuring the management of client records and data are handled in accordance with the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW)
The successful candidate will:
Hold a Bachelors Degree in Dentistry (with a demonstrably strong academic record)
Be registered with the Dental Board of NSW
Demonstrate knowledge and complicity of state and federal practice laws
Have current medical indemnity insurance
Display excellent communication and client relationship skills
